Pat McAfee’s disdain for Dominik Mysterio was evident during a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show, where he didn’t hold back in expressing his sentiments about the wrestler.
McAfee, known for his candid remarks both on his show and during WWE commentary, didn’t mince words when discussing Dominik. He suggested that without the influence of his father, Rey Mysterio, Dominik wouldn’t have a place in the wrestling industry. McAfee even implied that Dominik would be relegated to performing at smaller venues with significantly fewer spectators.
Rhea Ripley, who was a guest on the show, came to Dominik’s defense, referring to him as “The GOAT”, which seemed to irk McAfee.
Although McAfee didn’t explicitly mention “the other place” where Dominik might end up, his implication was clear that he was talking about AEW. The insinuation was that without his family connections, Dominik might not have the same level of success in the wrestling world.
Both Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley are set to compete at WrestleMania 40. Ripley will defend her WWE Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch, while Dominik will team up with Santos Escobar to take on Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee in what promises to be an electrifying matchup.
