Identity of The Person Behind The Rock’s Heel Turn Revealed

The Rock’s current heel persona seamlessly blends his Hollywood charisma with the attitude he exhibited in the late 90s, captivating fans with his dynamic character. He has also been calling himself the ”Final Boss” lately, and it appears the identity of the person who pitched his heel turn has been revealed.

In recent weeks, The Rock has asserted himself as the “Final Boss” in the lead-up to the highly anticipated showdown at WrestleMania Night 1, where he and Roman Reigns are set to clash against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a high-stakes tag team match.

The Great One displayed a level of brutality and pure intimidation that fans had never expected to see from him and so it’s no surprise fans love his current heel character.

While speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, Triple H talked about The Rock’s current heel turn and revealed that it was none other than The Rock who pitched for the heel turn in the first place.

“If you had asked me two months earlier, ‘Hey, Rock comes in here, this goes however it goes, whatever, what do you think about Rock turning heel?’ I would have said he’ll never go for that, right? Because of his career and everything else, like him turning heel. But, you know, he was the one that was like, ‘What if we flip this? What if we do the tag? What if I turn heel?’ As soon as he said it, I was like, ‘That’s like the answer.’ Yeah. And, to be honest, for me, I could feel like this puts a whole fresh coat of paint on everything.”

Cody Rhodes also sees similarities between The Rock’s ‘Final Boss’ character and ‘Hollywood’ Hulk Hogan. Nonetheless, we will have to wait and see how The Rock will fare in his in-ring return at WrestleMania 40.
