World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins prepares for WrestleMania 40, a pivotal moment in his career. In the meantime, Rollins claimed that his current version is the best version of himself.
Rollins will headline WrestleMania 40 Night One alongside Cody Rhodes, as they take on The Rock and Roman Reigns. Despite recovering from a torn MCL and partially torn meniscus, Rollins remains confident heading into the event.
In an interview with Cameron Hawkins for The Ringer, Rollins expressed confidence in his current state, feeling like he’s in his prime at almost 38 years old. He believes the next five years will see him reaching new heights, stating that the best of Seth Rollins is still to come.
“I’m about to be 38 in May, and I’m, like, right in my prime, like my mental and my physical are right in the perfect space. And I think the next five years, especially, I’m going to be able to really, really hone it in and kick it into gear. But right now, dude, I’m having a great time. I’m getting to be able to be in the ring with guys who are extremely experienced and extremely good at what they do, and we’re all just elevating each other’s game. And so, like, I feel like this is easily the best version of Seth Rollins that we’ve seen so far. But with that said, I do think the best is yet to come.”
The Rock and Roman Reigns have been making life hellish for Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins for the past few months and it will all culminate at WrestleMania 40, so we’ll have to wait and see who will ultimately prevail when all is said and done.
