Naomi has been one of the most athletically skilled and gifted in-ring athletes that is prevalent in WWE today. Despite spending time away from the company for nearly a year and a half, The Glow had no doubts about making it back to the promotion during her time away.

As it has been well documented, Naomi alongside Mercedes Mone famously walked out of WWE in May 2022 with reports indicating creative frustrations and differences with the company back then.

Since then, Naomi made various public appearances at high-profile events and even returned to wrestling under TNA for the major part of 2023, competing under her real name ‘Trinity.’ However, she parted ways with the company to make her return to WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble event as a surprise entrant in the name-sake 30-woman over-the-top-rope battle royal.

During a recent interview with Going Ringside, Naomi credited her journey outside the company and clearly stated that there was no doubt in her mind that her WWE return was imminent, citing them as her family.

“It’s been a rollercoaster ride, but it’s been a great journey and I’m extremely excited and happy to be back. Working my way back to the top. WWE is home. It was never a doubt about returning. It was just a matter of when and me wanting to prove some things and do some things that I needed to do for myself. I did that. I accomplished that. It was just time. I missed it so much. WWE is always family.”

Naomi is set to team up with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill to battle Damage CTRL’s Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai at WrestleMania 40 this coming week, ready to return to the Grandest Stage of them all after nearly two years.
