Since Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon accusing the latter of emotional abuse and sex trafficking, the wrestling world has erupted. Not only stars from around the globe, but the fans have also been giving their take on the lawsuit and if the accusations seemed true.
Adding in to the list of stars who have quoted on the lawsuit, former WWE superstar Ronda Rousey has also given her take on it recently. The Baddest Woman on the Planet has not said any good things about Vince McMahon and WWE since her exit from the company.
During a recent interview on NewsNation, the former WWE Women’s Champion stated that she wasn’t surprised with the lawsuit. She also claimed that every other superstar in the roster was held hostage with their careers and some massive changes were required if WWE wanted to bring her back.
“It’s not surprising. I can tell you the reason why nobody else is speaking out is because they know that there will be negative repercussions if they say anything about the company that the company doesn’t like. Everybody is being held hostage by their careers, but since I don’t plan on going back there unless they make some very major changes, I feel free to say whatever I want to say, which I’ve always felt that way. I don’t really care if they have me back or not. I can wrestle wherever I want to wrestle and the truth should be told.”
Ronda Rousey has made a lot of negative comments about WWE lately. This one is an addition to it. It doesn’t seem like the Baddest Woman on the Planet is planning to make a return to the company anytime soon. However, after CM Punk’s surprising return to the company and changed behaviour, anything cannot be said.
