Matt Hardy’s illustrious career has been defined by significant achievements across numerous wrestling promotions over many decades. With his contract nearing its end, he has spoken about the potential for himself and Jeff Hardy to make an appearance at WrestleMania.

Matt Hardy made his debut in AEW in March 2020, coinciding with the onset of the pandemic. Initially, there was speculation that his contract would align with that of his brother, Jeff Hardy, potentially paving the way for Jeff to join AEW as well. However, due to factors such as injuries and periods of inactivity, their contracts did not synchronize as expected, resulting in an extension of Matt Hardy’s contract.

It was reported that Matt Hardy’s contract was going to expire in March this year, something that Matt Hardy would also confirm recently as well.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Matt Hardy discussed the possibility of himself and Jeff returning to WWE for WrestleMania 40, particularly with a tag team ladder match slated for the event. Matt expressed appreciation for the speculation surrounding their potential return, stating that it excites him. He emphasized the unpredictable nature of the wrestling business, saying “never say never.”
