Jeff Hardy hasn’t had the best of luck lately in AEW, as he recently suffered an injury at the hands of Sammy Guevara. With that said, Hardy’s in-ring return status has now been revealed.

As mentioned earlier, Sammy Guevara is currently serving suspension due to his role in a match against Jeff Hardy on February 14th. During this contest, Jeff Hardy sustained an injury, and it seems that proper concussion protocol was not followed. Additionally, Guevara performed his finishing move on Hardy, a maneuver that should not have been executed.

During a recent interview with WrestleZone, Matt Hardy provided an update on his brother Jeff’s recovery, revealing that Jeff Hardy is on track to return in about four weeks.

He’s doing okay. Yeah, his vision issues are good. He had to have surgery on his nose. He had some issues with his sinuses, so he had surgery, so he’s still got three or four more weeks before he will be cleared to return.”

Eric Bischoff accused AEW’s culture of high-risk moves for the injury as well. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see when Hardy will return to in-ring action and hopefully, not get hurt again.
