With an illustrious career that includes headlining WrestleMania and wining numerous titles across all three WWE brands, Becky Lynch has cemented her status as a trailblazer in the industry. The WWE superstar is known for her outspoken nature and strong convictions, therefore it’s no surprise she thinks she’s greatest woman wrestler in the history of the sport.
In an interview with Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports, Lynch discussed her groundbreaking achievements, highlighting her ability to break barriers while juggling roles as a mother and best-selling author. Despite her towering accomplishments, Lynch remains steadfast in her pursuit of excellence.
“I’m the first woman to win the main event of WrestleMania. I’ve won every single match there is to win in WWE. I have won every championship there is to win in WWE, I continue to break down barriers and to break through glass ceilings all while being a mother. All while being a best-selling author.
While asserting her dominance in wrestling business, Lynch stated that even if she were to retire tomorrow, her legacy as the greatest woman in wrestling would remain intact. However, retirement is far from her mind as she sets her sights on WrestleMania, determined to capture the title.
“If I quit tomorrow, I am still the greatest woman to have ever done it. But I’m not quitting tomorrow. I have a WrestleMania match that needs to happen… I’m going to take that title from her. Do I need to prove that I still have it? Okay, good. I did plant that seed of doubt. That seed grew into a tree but what’s great is that when people believe in me I’m good. But when people doubt me I am great. In fact, I’m not just great, I am an unstoppable monster.”
Ahead of WrestleMania 40, where she is set to challenge Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship, Lynch remains pretty confident in her abilities as she vowed to beat the “bejsus” out of Ripley. With her sights set on adding yet another milestone to her illustrious career, Lynch’s legacy as one of the greatest women in wrestling history is indisputable. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more!
