WWE has drawn major eyeballs with the heated feud between Cody Rhodes and The Bloodline, led by the iconic duo of The Rock and Roman Reigns. The rivalry sparked after the fans evidently turned on the Samoan duo wanting to main-event WrestleMania together in favor of the People’s Choice, Cody Rhodes.
It all began the night Cody Rhodes confronted Roman Reigns on the February 2 edition of SmackDown to reveal his WrestleMania plans. In a shocking turn of events, Rhodes stepped down and paved the way for The Rock’s return to take his spot and go on to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.
However, as many would remember, The Rock embraced Cody Rhodes as soon as he entered the ring to confront Roman Reigns. Noticeably, he whispered something in his ear which has been revealed in Part 1 of the mini-documentary released by The Great One on his X.
The 10-time WWE champion revealed that he thanked Cody Rhodes and stated his intentions to make the biggest WrestleMania of all time with the dream match between himself and Roman Reigns coming to fruition.
“Let’s have the biggest WrestleMania of all time.”
As we know, that led to a huge backlash from the fans with Cody Rhodes garnering huge support. Witnessing that, WWE flipped their plans and turned The Rock into the monster heel, known as The Final Boss, and aligned him with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.
Moreover, The Rock displayed his most vicious side last week on RAW by laying down a heinous beatdown on Cody Rhodes leaving him a puddle of his own blood. With The Rock and Roman Reigns set on tonight’s edition of RAW, it will be interesting to see Cody Rhodes’ response to the attack just a week before the most important weekend of his life.
