Rhea Ripley’s ascend to the top of the WWE mountain has been nothing short of remarkable. Moreover, her career reached new heights, largely attributed to her emergence as a dominant singles competitor and her affiliation with the formidable faction, Judgment Day.
The faction, consisting of Finn Balor, Damien Preist, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Rhea herself has been one of the most exciting fixtures to watch over the last year despite some internal and frequent turmoils seen, cementing Ripley’s presence as a top star even further.
Moreover, her victory in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match last year was a defining moment, granting her the opportunity to challenge for any championship at WrestleMania 39. She capitalized on it by dethroning Charlotte Flair to clinch the SmackDown Women’s Title on the Grandest Stage of them all.
In the year since, Ripley has defended her title against a mix of opponents, including Natalya, Zelina Vega, and most recently Nia Jax among others, showcasing her prowess and resilience in the ring.
That said, April 1, 2024, marks the date of Rhea Ripley’s one-year-long reign that began at last year’s WrestleMania, symbolizing a milestone in her reign as one of WWE’s most dominant and impressive female competitors.
However, Rhea’s impressive milestone happiness could quickly turn sour in a matter of days as she defends her title next week at WrestleMania 40 against one of the biggest stars of this generation, The Man Becky Lynch, after things were made intensely personal by Mami herself. So we will have to wait and see if the reign of The Eradicator will continue post-WrestleMania or not.
