As WrestleMania 40 approaches, WWE is leaving no stone unturned to make this edition of the Show of Shows truly memorable. Scheduled to take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 6th and 7th, anticipation is soaring to unprecedented levels. In addition to the already exciting lineup of matches, WWE is reportedly planning a special gimmick match to add an extra layer of excitement to the event.
With WrestleMania 40 on the horizon, WWE has rapidly assembled a star-studded card. Among the confirmed matchups is a highly anticipated clash between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship, promising an electrifying showdown between two of the industry’s top talents.
Additionally, Logan Paul is slated to defend his United States Championship against the formidable challenge of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, setting the stage for an intense battle for supremacy in the ring.
As of Friday night, WWE WrestleMania 40 has officially confirmed 12 matches, with expectations of a 13th match to be announced soon. According to Dave Meltzer, this anticipated 13th match is set to feature the Street Profits & Bobby Lashley taking on Karrion Kross & Authors of Pain. Last week, it was reported that this match would be billed as a Philadelphia Street fight.
“The only match unannounced was made obvious Friday, with the Street Profits & Bobby Lashley vs. Karrion Kross & Authors of Pain. As of last week, it was booked to be billed as a Philadelphia Street fight.”
During SmackDown, Karrion Kross and Scarlett staged an attack on Lashley and B-Fab backstage, leading to a distraction that caused the Street Profits to lose their match against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. We’ll have to see whether it will end up being a Philadelphia Street fight in the end.
Ringside News has also exclusively reported that the lineups for WrestleMania Saturday and Sunday have already been internally locked in. Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether the event will turn out to be a memorable one for both nights.

WrestleMania 40 is shaping up to be an absolute blockbuster event, with an incredible lineup of matches that has fans buzzing with anticipation. Personally, I can’t wait to see the clash between Reigns and Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, as well as Becky Lynch’s quest to reclaim the WWE Women’s World Title from Rhea Ripley. The addition of special gimmick matches and surprise appearances only adds to the intrigue. WrestleMania always delivers big moments, and this year’s edition promises to be no different.
