While the WrestleMania 40 card has some of the biggest and most entertaining stars on the roster, a lot still don’t have a match confirmed for the show. Pretty Deadly is one of them. The tag team duo has been on an incredible run on the blue brand and earned an opportunity to showcase themselves at the Grandest Stage of them All.
The duo faced the team of Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate on the 3/15 episode of WWE Smackdown. After a decent match, Elton Prince and Kit Wilson ended up on the losing end, which seemingly ended their chance to feature at the Showcase of the Immortals.
However, on the 3/29 episode of Smackdown, the duo kicked off the show in a tag team match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. Thanks to Logan Paul’s interference, Owens ended up being pinned giving the duo one of the biggest wins of their career.
Addressing their massive victory on Smackdown, Pretty Deadly showed up in a Smackdown Exclusive and celebrated their big wine, eventually calling it their ‘WrestleMania moment’.
“This is positive vibes. Look, WrestleMania was so big, it couldn’t be contained to one night. They made two. But now, WrestleMania is so big, it can’t be contained to two nights because boom! We got our WrestleMania moment tonight.”
WrestleMania is just days away and Randy Orton and Kevin Owens are set to challenge Logan Paul for the United States Championship in a triple threat match. However, Pretty Deadly still doesn’t have anything confirmed. After an assistance from Logan Paul on Smackdown, the duo helping him retain the title at WrestleMania won’t be a surprise.
