AJ Styles has squared off against the best of the best stars in all of WWE and this included Randy Orton. In fact, he has revealed that Orton was genuinely furious during their WrestleMania 35 match.

AJ Styles recently reflected on his WrestleMania 35 match with Randy Orton, a bout that had been considered a dream match for fans for nearly a decade leading up to the event. However, despite the anticipation surrounding the matchup, the experience was marred by lighting issues at MetLife Stadium. Regrettably, a significant portion of the match was obscured from the view of those in attendance due to these technical difficulties.

AJ Styles recently addressed the mishap during a Fanatics Live stream on the UpUpDownDown YouTube channel, shedding light on the incident where lighting issues affected their WrestleMania 35 match. Styles revealed that while he was upset by the situation, Randy Orton was even more displeased.

“That’s definitely one to forget because the lights were blinding people. We were supposed to go two or one, and then, of course, Brock [Brock Lesnar] gets to do anything he wants, so he switched it. By the time we went out there, the lights had come on and blinded half the stadium. I was pissed. You know who was even more pissed than me? Randy [Randy Orton]. I knew I didn’t have to get mad if Randy was mad.”
