Rey Mysterio Issues Tag Team Match Challenge for WrestleMania 40 on 3/29 WWE SmackDown Episode

Santos Escobar and his faction, Legado Del Fantasma had been having issues with the LWO and their leader, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio for months. Moreover, Escobar even picked up a huge win against Mysterio with little assistance from his estranged son, Dominik Mysterio causing a timely distraction.

The Mexican Emperor came out with his entire clan, Berto, Angel, and Electra Lopez on tonight’s edition of the show to thank Dominik for his actions last week that helped Santos Escobar put down a legend like Rey Mysterio.

Dominik Mysterio came out and seemed pleased to assist Santos Escobar, who himself acknowledged that Dom Dom had been right about his father the whole time he tagged along with Rey during his days in the LWO.

As the segment progressed, Rey Mysterio and his entire LWO clan, Carlito, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, and Zelina Vega made their way to the ring to confront their rivals and Dominik Mysterio.

The Master of the 619 that he would want nothing but to lay a beatdown on the two people he despised the most i.e Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar before laying out the challenge to compete against both in a tag team match with a partner of his choosing at WrestleMania 40.

As Legado Del Fantasma questioned Mysterio’s partner, he announced that it would be none other than the newest member of the LWO, the NXT rising star Dragon Lee who came out right after, ensuring an all-out brawl between the two heated factions to end the segment.
