The road to WrestleMania 40 has almost reached its destination with the final action-packed stop being the go-home edition of SmackDown next week with a huge line-up of exciting matches planned for the show.
After months of tensions, costing opportunities, and an all-out brawl between their respective teams on tonight’s edition of SmackDown, LWO member Zelina Vega is set to battle rival faction, Legado Del Fantasma member Electra Lopez in a one-on-one showdown.
In the tag team division, the two teams that qualified for the 6-Pack tag team ladder match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships on tonight’s SmackDown, New Catch Republic and the team of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller will collide in a massive tag team match.
On the other hand, after Paul Heyman revealed that Roman Reigns had orchestrated the heinous attack on Cody Rhodes at the hand of his cousin, The Rock on RAW this week, Bloodline member Jimmy Uso stated that his twin brother and WrestleMania 40 opponent, Jey Uso has almost something similar coming his way. With that being said, the younger Uso Solo Sikoa made it clear that Jey won’t make it to The Show of Shows as both were set to collide in a one-on-one match next week.
The last match announced for next week’s show will see multiple stars from the WWE roster participating in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal to build momentum one day before WrestleMania 40.
Additionally, Kevin Owens will host his famous ring segment ‘The Kevin Owens Show’ with his guest being The Viper Randy Orton as they are set to compete in a triple threat match also pitting Logan Paul for his WWE United States Championship.
