Cody Rhodes has solidified his position as one of WWE’s most beloved protagonists, with a portion of his success attributed to his entrance theme song. Notably, the band responsible for his extravagant theme has dropped another hint after previous ones regarding a significant announcement tied to WrestleMania 40.
Titled “Kingdom,” Cody Rhodes’s entrance theme is performed by the band Downstait. The song has become inseparable from Rhodes’s persona, eagerly awaited by fans each week as he makes his way to the ring and does the popular ‘WOAH’ alongside The American Nightmare.
The band recently alluded to a major announcement linked to WrestleMania 40. During an interview with Steve Fall, lead singer Zack Call was questioned about any plans for the event. While Call remained tight-lipped on specifics, he hinted at their involvement during WrestleMania 40 weekend.
Now, just 8 days before The Show of Shows, Downstait once again took to their X to drop another teaser related to the Cody Rhodes announcement with the tweet captioned with the lyrics at the opening of the song ‘Kingdom’ and date titled the same as previous hints when they plan to disclose the announcement.
“Do it all to get them off their feet… 4-5-24.”
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes has experienced a tumultuous path on the road to WrestleMania after being subjected to a hellacious assault by The Rock last week on RAW. As anticipation builds for the biggest WrestleMania of all time in Philidelphia, fans are left to speculate whether Downstait’s announcement will include a live performance during the grand event. We will have to wait and see for that as WrestleMania 40 draws near.
