The WWE Universe is only a week away from witnessing one of the biggest editions of their grand spectacle, WrestleMania set to go down on April 6 and 7 at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philidelphia with a huge match made official for the show.
As we saw on tonight’s edition of SmackDown, the blue brand saw the electrifying arrival of its latest signee, The Storm Jade Cargill who instantly put the entire women’s division on notice and her declaration set the stage for what was to come later in the evening.
As the main event unfolded between Bianca Belair and Dakota Kai, tensions escalated when members of Damage CTRL, Asuka, and Kairi Sane, intervened to attack Belair. Naomi, a staunch ally of Belair, rushed to her aid, only to find herself overwhelmed by the opposing faction.
Amidst the chaos, Jade Cargill emerged once again, striding down to the ring with unwavering determination. With fearless resolve, she single-handedly dismantled each member of Damage CTRL and stood tall alongside Belair and Naomi.
Witnessing the conclusion of SmackDown, GM Nick Aldis, in a video released by WWE on X expressed his emotions and scheduled a huge 6-woman tag team match, pitting Damage CTRL members Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai against the squad of Naomi, Bianca Belair and The Storm herself, Jade Cargill.
“#SmackDown GM @RealNickAldis makes it official:
@Jade_Cargill, @BiancaBelairWWE & @TheTrinity_Fatu will battle @WWEAsuka, @KAIRI_official & @ImKingKota at #WrestleMania!”
With Jade Cargill set for her first-ever WWE match at the Grandest Stage of them all, it would be interesting to see the former AEW TBS champion make her debut at WrestleMania 40 as the fans get even more pumped and excited for what is billed to be, The Biggest WrestleMania of all time.
