On the March 25th episode of WWE RAW, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Seth Rollins electrified the atmosphere with their promos, igniting excitement among fans and capturing what is often referred to as “the feeling.” This also ended up revealing how Punk and Rollins’ relationship is backstage despite their past issues.
This segment not only provided the platform for CM Punk’s announcement as the guest commentator for the World Title Match at WrestleMania 40, where Seth Rollins defends against Drew McIntyre, but it also showcased the heightened intensity leading up to the event.
As previously noted, the talent involved had a general guideline for the segment’s direction, allowing them to inject their own personalities and energies into the interaction. Fans especially loved when CM Punk and Seth Rollins were at each other’s throats throughout the segment.
According to Wade Keller of PWTorch, it was reported that Seth Rollins and CM Punk are getting along well backstage despite their past beef, as they focus on their segments.
‘‘By all accounts, while Seth harbored legitimate gripes with Punk, the two are getting along backstage when planning their segments. Punk continues to get all positive reviews from many sources regarding how he is carrying himself amongst colleagues and management.”
Interestingly enough, Seth Rollins allegedly felt disrespected by CM Punks WWE return. Nevertheless, it is good to know all the involved parties are true professionals and aren’t letting their real-life animosity come in between their storylines and that is all that matters.
