A lot of fans know that Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch’s relationship wasn’t great a few years back. In fact, they even had a heated heated confrontation on SmackDown in 2021. However, they have since patched things up, and Lynch recently shared that Bray Wyatt’s passing played a significant role in their reconciliation.
Becky Lynch had openly discussed the backstage confrontation with Charlotte Flair, with Flair herself expressing feeling like the only adult in their feud.
In her latest book, “Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Girl,” Lynch delves into her relationship with Flair from her perspective, shedding light on their fallout and subsequent reconciliation. She further elaborated on these topics during a recent interview with Adam Silverstein on the Getting Over: Wrestling Podcast.
When asked about repairing their friendship and her current standing with Flair, Lynch expressed that despite their past issues, there was still love between them, and they would have supported each other during difficult times. Reflecting on the passing of their peers like Bray Wyatt, Lynch emphasized the fleeting nature of life and the importance of not holding onto grudges.
“…Having that hostility towards somebody kind of weighs on you, you know what I mean? I think life is too short for that and we witnessed that. We’ve seen the tragic passing of people that went far too young, like Bray Wyatt, like Luke Harper, and other friends who passed away that were very close to me in the last few months too, and so all of those things I think as you grow and mature you realize that these petty differences aren’t worth the toxicity it leaves in you and the weight that it carries.”
Becky Lynch also admitted that her animosity towards Charlotte Flair weighed down on her. We will have to wait and see whether they will end up working together somewhere down the line.
