A WWE luminary has undergone a shift in status, transitioning from the active roster to the alumni section on the official WWE public roster page.
During the latest installment of WWE NXT, Ridge Holland took center stage in an in-ring segment, revealing his decision to temporarily step away from in-ring competition, citing indefinite leave.
Following the segment’s broadcast, the WWE roster page promptly reflected this change, relocating Ridge Holland to the Alumni section.
In his on-air appearance, Holland alluded to prioritizing his mental well-being and fulfilling his responsibilities as a father and husband.
While the nature of Holland’s departure remains unconfirmed, whether it’s part of a scripted storyline or an authentic personal development for the former Rugby star, updates will be provided pending any further statements from Holland.
Under his real name, Luke Menzies, Holland inked a deal with WWE in May 2018, making his debut at a live event in July of the same year. His journey with the company saw him featured prominently on NXT UK and NXT before his transition to the main roster.
Holland’s most notable stint occurred on WWE SmackDown, where he teamed up with Sheamus and Butch (now known once again as Pete Dunne) as part of the stable, the Brawling Brutes, from 2021 to 2023.
