The alliance of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins has taken up the task of freeing the WWE from the clutches of The Rock, Roman Reigns, and The Bloodline at WrestleMania 40, that is if they are on the same page.
It has been no secret that the current World Heavyweight Champion and The American Nightmare have a heated past, but they have kept their differences aside to join forces in their quest to take down The Bloodline, as they go into a high-stakes bout against Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania 40 Night 1.
The Final Boss made a huge statement on last night’s edition of Monday Night RAW by launching a heinous attack on Cody Rhodes that left him covered in his own blood with The Rock standing tall to end the show.
As it was seen, Seth Rollins was himself taken out ringside by his WrestleMania 40 opponent, Drew McIntyre at the conclusion of the main event. But a user on X made an interesting observation that The Visionary had recovered by the time The Rock arrived backstage to assault Cody Rhodes and was spotted casually walking toward the gorilla position with Jey Uso.
Rollins seemed to have made it back to his feet midway as The Rock went all rogue on Cody and had enough time to locate them outside the arena and save his partner. With their alliance already being questioned before and Seth choosing to withdraw from being Cody’s shield as he had promised, things could take a turn for the worse as Cody Rhodes’ destiny to Finish the Story approaches in nearly two weeks.
What are your thoughts on Seth Rollins possibly choosing to not save Cody Rhodes from The Rock’s attack? Sound off in the comments!
