Kevin Nash remains a professional wrestling icon with a storied career, which is why his opinion carries weight. With WrestleMania 40 around the corner, fans wondered if he would be there for the event. As it turns out, he won’t even be around for WrestleMania 40 weekend.
As the countdown to WrestleMania 40 begins, WWE is sparing no effort to ensure that this edition of the Show of Shows lives up to its legacy. Scheduled to take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 6th and 7th, anticipation is at an all-time high.
On the latest Kliq This podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash made it clear that he won’t be in Philadelphia during WrestleMania weekend. Nash emphasized that he won’t be in the city for anything, especially from the fourth through the seventh of April. He cited a personal issue that requires his attention and stated unequivocally that he will not be attending WrestleCon or any related events in Philadelphia during that time.
“I have to say, so we don’t have any discretionary bullsh*t, II will not be in the city of Philadelphia for anything, ever, ever at all, but especially from the fourth through the seventh. So I will not be in Philadelphia. I have a personal issue I have to take care of and I will not be in Philadelphia. So I will not be at WrestleCon.”
Regardless, WWE has a lot of things planned for WrestleMania 40 and many legends will be there, so Kevin Nash’s absence will not be a huge deal for the show overall.
