Becky Lynch has made her fair share of enemies as she ascended to the top of the mountain. But much like every other WWE superstar in the history of the company, she also has one of those iconic rivals with whom she has created exciting storylines and delivered stellar performances every time they met.
In other words, For The Man, her arch rival is a Queen and her name is Charlotte Flair. Both superstars revolutionized women’s wrestling in WWE NXT, came up the ranks as a faction, and carved out their astonishing and historic legacies.
Over the years, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch’s paths have crossed multiple times, in singles and title bouts, tag team bouts, heated segments where things got intense in real life, and most notably, both women being a part of the first-ever women’s WrestleMania main event match.
During a recent interview on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg, the former Big Time Becks shed light on her rivalry with Charlotte Flair prevalent over the years, and claimed that it would be an exciting sight to witness each time they squared off and hinted at future encounters between the two iconic rivals.
“I think so. I think that’s one of those things that, we can always go back and it will always be good. Because now we haven’t wrestled in two years, more? We haven’t wrestled each other in two and a half years. So if you see a Becky and Charlotte match, I think anybody’s gonna be excited to see what’s gonna happen.”
Becky Lynch is currently gearing up for her high-stakes title encounter against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania XL after she earned the opportunity inside the Elimination Chamber to face The Eradicator in a singles bout.
On the other hand, Charlotte Flair is currently rehabbing for her devastating knee injury that she suffered a few months ago and will miss this year’s WrestleMania. With that said, it surely would be an interesting story to revisit between Charlotte and Becky in the future once The Queen recovers from her injury and makes a grand return to WWE.
