The Street Profits Advances to Final Round for Tag Team Ladder Match at WrestleMania 40 on 3/22 WWE SmackDown

The window of opportunity to compete at the Showcase of the Immortals, WrestleMania 40 is closing down fast, and the team of Street Profits has clinched an important win to make it one step closer to competing at WWE’s premier show this year.

On tonight’s edition of SmackDown, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins went up to battle against the duo of AOP (Akam And Rezar) in the final round of the SmackDown tag team tournament to claim a spot in the 6-pack tag team ladder for the Undisputed WWE tag team titles at WrestleMania 40.

While The Street Profits brought their charismatic combination of strength and speed to the mix, the AOP had their dominance and the intention to destroy everything in sight firmly intact as a huge opportunity hung in the balance.

Both teams threw everything at each other with the WWE fans in Milwaukee, Wisconsin witnessing a highly exhilarating tag team showdown. The closing moments of the bout saw Angelo Dawkins saving Montez Ford from a double-team move leading to a timely rollup to pick up the victory.

Clinching the win on SmackDown, The Street Profits will now move ahead to the final round to battle the notorious duo of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller who themselves qualified earlier in the night with either team making it to WrestleMania.
