Drew McIntyre is notably one of the most outspoken rivals in WWE, often directing his intense animosity towards CM Punk. Amidst their ongoing rivalry, McIntyre recently decided to taunt Punk once more by referencing a Jack Perry remark.

In recent weeks, Drew McIntyre has been trolling CM Punk, taking shots at him in WWE RAW promos and through posts on social media. The rivalry between them escalated when WWE released shirt featuring McIntyre’s meme, mocking Punk’s injury that will unfortunately prevent his participation in WrestleMania 40.

On Twitter, in response to CM Punk’s recent training video, Drew McIntyre posted his own workout video, expressing anticipation for their encounter in Chicago.

Accompanying McIntyre’s video was the song “Cry Me a River” by Justin Timberlake, a clear nod to the quote from Jack Perry at AEW All In, which allegedly sparked the backstage altercation leading to Punk’s departure from AEW.

Drew McIntyre has gone as far as demanding gratitude from CM Punk for supposedly keeping him in the spotlight. Taking his trolling of Punk to another level, McIntyre has even dedicated his WrestleMania 40 match against Seth Rollins to the Second City Saint. The anticipation is high as to whether Punk and McIntyre will engage in a physical confrontation on the March 25th edition of Monday Night RAW, marking Punk’s return to the ring.
