Darby Allin, known for his adventurous spirit and fearless stunts, aimed to conquer Mount Everest, but a foot injury thwarted his plans. However, the timeline for Darby Allin’s return from injury has now been disclosed.
In a recent revelation, it emerged that Darby Allin had planned to embark on an ascent of Mount Everest this month, despite the considerable risks associated with scaling the world’s tallest peak.
However, these intentions were disrupted when Darby Allin suffered a foot injury during his match against Jay White on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. As a result, it has been confirmed that his Everest expedition will be postponed.
In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer disclosed that Darby Allin will be sidelined for a few months due to his foot injury.
“Depending on the severity and need or surgery, a broken foot can be two months without surgery and luck. CM Punk had surgery and it was three months.”
Due to his injury, the former TNT champion’s aspirations to conquer Everest will need to be postponed until the following year. The timing of Darby’s recovery will ultimately dictate when he can embark on the monumental climb he has been diligently preparing for.
