Ronda Rousey has been credited as one of the most dominant in-ring performers of all time but decided to step away from the combat world to focus more on her family and other exciting ventures.
Recently, the former RAW Women’s champion announced the release of her autobiography ‘Our Fight’ outlining some of the most intriguing and personal anecdotes of her life in the book.
In one of those chapters, Ronda Rousey took a direct shot at former WWE Chairman and TKO Group Holdings shareholder, Vince McMahon. The events transpired following shocking allegations by former WWE employee, Janel Grant who accused, perhaps the most powerful man in the wrestling business of sexual misconduct and sex trafficking to his circle of people.
The Rowdy One hinted that Vince McMahon was a true representation of his onscreen WWE portrayal, who engaged in various sexual and inappropriate segments with female stars and was slapped with various allegations and lawsuits over the years.
Moreover, Ronda did not even hold back in saying that according to her, McMahon would have wanted to strip women of their rights, in a similar fashion to how the country that generates staggering business for WWE does with their female society, Saudi Arabia.
“It’s hard sometimes to know where the evil, unethical, slimeball character of Vince McMahon played out for the cameras ends and the actual questionably ethical, many times sued, and multiple times accused of sexual misconduct Vince McMahon begins. That blurred line between character and reality is a recurring theme within the WWE Universe.” “[Pay-per-views are] held in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia, as well as now twice a year in Saudi Arabia, a nation that restricts the rights of women in a way that I’m certain Vince McMahon wishes he could.”
While TKO Group Holdings have distanced themselves from Vince McMahon in every way possible, Ronda Rousey on the other hand is enjoying time with her daughter and husband while continuing to pursue other endeavors after choosing to decline an offer from WWE’s rival promotion, AEW.
