However, Brooks Jensen issued an apology over his Ole Anderson shirt after discovering Anderson’s racist allegations.
Brooks Jensen recently paid tribute to Ole Anderson, who passed away on February 26, by wearing a shirt featuring Ole’s image and name. However, Jensen faced criticism as Ole had been accused of racism.
In response to the backlash, Jensen took to social media to apologize, expressing that he was unaware of the allegations against Ole when he wore the shirt. ”I will never support any racism, hate, or bullying. While I respected Ole for his wrestling it was news to me after wearing the tshirt that he was associated with these allegation’s. Ive noticed my “looks” and where I’m from are frequently stigmatized with the underbelly of our society (i.e racists) but this mullet just likes to give love and party. My apologies to anyone who knew the allegations prior and were offended by the shirt. I’m learning and this was noted.”
Brooks Jensen did what he felt was the right thing to do and many fans have given him props for that and for him, that is all that truly matters.
