It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! WWE RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the March 18, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with video footage of “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes shown arriving in the arena earlier today with his dog Pharaoh. #DIY and The Creed Brothers were also shown arriving.
Michael Cole and Pat McAfee then welcomes us to the show and Cole mentions that the Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso matchup would be just the third-ever brother vs. brother match at WrestleMania. Cole also mentions that Bret vs. Owen and Matt vs. Jeff are the other brother vs. brother matchups. Cole also announced a sold-out crowd of over 14,000 fans for tonight’s show.
“Main Event” Jey Uso then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.
Jey Uso starts off by welcoming the live audience to Monday Night RAW. Jey then says he knows The Bloodline is in the building. The crowd then does Yeet chants along with Jey. Jey then asks where his brothers are at. Jimmy Uso then makes his way down to the ring through the crowd along with Solo Sikoa and slowly enters in the ring.
Jey Uso then tosses his sunglasses as he goes face-to-face with Jimmy Uso. Jimmy and Jey then stare daggers through each other. A Uso chant then breaks out during the stare-down. Jey says this feels different and regardless of what happened, he misses Jimmy. Jey then asks Jimmy to come back to him and Jimmy says he never left Jey and he protected Jey at every turn.
Jimmy also says it was Jey’s idea to leave the Bloodline. Jimmy also says Jey goes off and becomes one of the biggest stars on RAW and a tag team champion without him. Jimmy also says Jey forgot about him and everything Jey has is because of him. Jimmy then tells Jey that the biggest moments of his career happened because of him. Jey then says nah as the biggest moment of his career is going to be at WrestleMania 40 when he knocks the Yeet out of Jimmy’s ass. Jey then nails Jimmy and Solo Sikoa jumps up on the apron. Jey then knocks Sikoa to the floor and Jimmy superkicks Jey. Sikoa then attacks Jey from behind and “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes makes his way down to the ring and takes out Jimmy. Sikoa then misses a clothesline and gets hit with a Cody Cutter. Jimmy and Solo then retreat as Cody helps Jey off the mat.
We then get a video package for Becky Lynch vs. Nia Jax, which is tonight’s main event.
We then head to the back, where RAW General Manager Adam Pearce was having a heated conversation on the phone when he was approached by Paul Heyman. Heyman assured Pearce that what happened with Jimmy and Sikoa earlier was not authorized by him or anyone else in the Bloodline. Heyman also assured Pearce that on Roman Reigns’ word Jimmy and Sikoa were gone from the building. Heyman then assured Pearce that he was only there on official business and that he would leave once that business was over. Heyman also teased that everyone would get caught off guard by what happens later tonight.
We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is a WrestleMania Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder Match Qualifier.
The match starts off with Tommaso Ciampa and Julius Creed. Ciampa slaps Julius after both men have a clean break in the ropes. Julius then takes Ciampa down and Ciampa rolls out of the ring to stop the momentum of Julius. Brutus then tags in and throws Ciampa with a hip toss. Gargano then gets a blind tag and after a double team, Ciampa blasts Brutus with a lariat. Gargano and Ciampa then hit an assisted sliced bread #2 on Brutus. Gargano and Ciampa then deliver stereo dives on the Creed Brothers and pat themselves on the back while sitting on the apron.
The Creed Brothers then take over the match and get a near fall after a series of standing moonsaults. Gargano then breaks up the Brutus Ball and Brutus sends Ciampa into the commentary desk. Ciampa then hits Julius with a reverse DDT. Ciampa then manages to tag in Gargano and Gargano clears the ring.
Gargano then gets a near fall after a slingshot spear. Ciampa then tags in as Gargano takes Brutus out with a suicide dive. Ciampa then hits an air raid crash off the second rope, but Julius kicks out at two. Ciampa and Julius then trade strikes and Julius hits Ciampa with a lariat and puts him in an ankle lock. Gargano then tries to break it up, but Julius powerbombs Gargano. Brutus then puts Gargano in an ankle lock and Ciampa kicks Julius into Brutus to break up both holds. Gargano then puts Brutus in the Gargano escape, while Ciampa has Julius in the Sicilian Stretch. The Creed Brothers then counter and sends Gargano and Ciampa into each other. Brutus and Julius then both hit moonsaults on Ciampa and Gargano breaks up the pin. After a series of reversals, Gargano then superkicks Julius while he has Ciampa rolled up. Julius then gets rolled up by Ciampa and Ciampa gets the 1-2-3.

We then head to the back, where we see the Judgment Day talking with Andrade in their lounge about a potential future alliance. The Judgment Day tell Andrade that he has a match next week and that they will be watching him closely. Andrade then crosses paths with Priest as he leaves. Priest then admonishes JD McDonagh for losing last week and Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley says Ricochet made a fool out of McDonagh. Ripley then says Dominik will make an example of Ricochet. Dominik was caught off guard by this, but Dominik says he will go to Pearce to make it official.
It is then announced that Thunderbolt Patterson will be inducted into the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame.
We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Tag Team Match.
The match starts off with Hartwell getting a blind tag from LeRae and hitting Carter with a big boot. LeRae then tags back in and delivers a number of shots on Carter. LeRae then misses a step up senton and tags back out. Chance then tags in and delivers a flurry of offense on Hartwell. Chance flips out of a suplex attempt from Hartwell and tweaks her knee. The referee then tells Hartwell to back away. LeRae then tags herself in and hits a baseball slide on Carter. LeRae then slams Chance’s injured knee into the ring post and puts her in a modified single-leg crab and Chance taps out immediately.
The winners of the Tag Team Match, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell!
After the match, Hartwell looks upset at LeRae. LeRae then celebrates with a huge smile on her face.
We then get a video of what The Rock said and sang this past Friday night on SmackDown.
A Bray Wyatt documentary was then announced for Peacock, where Bo Dallas, JoJo Offerman, John Cena, Alexa Bliss and World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins were interviewed.
“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.
Cody Rhodes starts off by saying he will challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against the greatest champion in sports, Roman Reigns, in less than three weeks and this Friday on SmackDown, he will speak with Reigns. Rhodes also says they have a bit of a complication when it comes to The Rock as during one of his Instagram promos, The Rock referred to himself as “our favorite heel.” Rhodes then says The Rock isn’t a heel as The Rock is just an a-hole. Rhodes then says The Rock made fun of him for crying in the ring, but The Rock has been crying behind the scenes since he came back. Rhodes then calls The Rock a whiney b*tch and says The Rock brought up his mother, so let’s talk about The Rock’s mom.
Rhodes then says he knows The Rock’s mom and she is a lovely lady. Rhodes then says his mom isn’t afraid of The Rock. Rhodes also says The Rock hasn’t been in real action in years, so what happens when the bell rings. Rhodes then says will The Rock bring Big Rock energy or will it just be LDS, little d*ck syndrome. Rhodes then says at WrestleMania The Rock isn’t going to be the final boss as The Rock is just Reigns’ side chick.
Paul Heyman then interrupts and makes his way down. Heyman starts off by apologizing for his actions the last time he was on RAW. Rhodes then says he didn’t ask for an apology, but Heyman can join him in the ring. Heyman decides to stay on the apron and says he is there to deliver a message from Roman Reigns. Heyman says he isn’t trustworthy, but Reigns is a Tribal Chief of his word. Heyman also says when Rhodes goes face-to-face with Reigns he will show up alone, except for him, who is no physical threat to Rhodes. Rhodes then agrees. Heyman also says if Reigns shows up alone, Rhodes needs to show up alone as well. Rhodes then agrees and shakes Heyman’s hand.
We then head to the back, where Nia Jax says Becky Lynch has never beaten her and never will. Jax also says she will break Lynch’s face again and take her spot at WrestleMania before finishing her business with Ripley. Jax then says she plans on becoming the champion.
“Main Event” Jey Uso then approached Cody Rhodes in the back. Jey tells Rhodes that Reigns will not be alone and he would be there for Rhodes if he needed him.
We then gets the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Ricochet putting Dominik in a Waist Lock. Dominik then hits Ricochet with a back elbow, but Ricochet delivers a series of strikes on Dominik and follows that up with a springboard back elbow. Ricochet then looks to fly and land on Dominik on the outside, but McDonagh pushes Dominik out of the way. Ricochet then flies over the top rope and lands on Dominik, then gets him back in the ring. McDonagh then grabs Ricochet’s ankle as he looks to follow him back inside. Dominik then takes advantage and dropkicks Ricochet out of the ring.
Ricochet then looks to fly inside the ring from the apron, but Dominik trips him and sends him into the mat with a Facebuster. Dominik then looks to hit The Three Amigos on Ricochet, but Ricochet counters the move into a Brainbuster and gets Dominik up on his shoulders before hitting Dominik with a couple of double knees. Dominik then looks to kick Ricochet on his midsection, but Ricochet catches it and delivers a kick on Dominik’s head. Ricochet then goes for a 450 Splash, but Dominik moves out of the way. McDonagh then jumps up on the apron, but Ricochet hits him with a kick. Dominik then looks to take advantage and kicks Ricochet in the ropes, then calls for the 619. Ricochet moves out of the way and hits Dominik with the Recoil for the win.

After the match, McDonagh looks to attack Ricochet, but Ricochet escapes.
We then head to the back, where Sami Zayn approaches Chad Gable. Zayn starts off by saying last week’s match an honor. Zayn then says he hasn’t been pushed like that in a long time and it could have gone either way. Gable then says yeah it was great. Zayn then says he knew something was bugging Gable and asks what it was. Gable then resisted, but admitted last week’s match meant more to him. Zayn then says that was unfair as he has a family at home too and his kid cried when he lost too. Gable then says he couldn’t tell Zayn what this meant to him because he doesn’t know what it meant to him. Gable then says he knew all of that, but his issue wasn’t about that. Zayn then wanted to know what it was about and Gable told Zayn that he can’t beat GUNTHER.
We then head back to the ring, where RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is already standing as he is there to facilitate the WWE Intercontinental Championship contract signing for WrestleMania. Pearce introduces Sami Zayn first and Zayn makes his way down to the ring. WWE Intercontinental Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER makes his way down to the ring next. GUNTHER starts off by saying that this is the contract signing for the most important Intercontinental Title match in history and Zayn is out here dressed like one of the bums in the audience. Zayn then says GUNTHER is starting to piss him off and this isn’t just another day at the office.
Zayn then says GUNTHER doesn’t believe he can do it and many people don’t believe in him. Zayn then says that if GUNTHER asks the Usos, they will probably say they didn’t think he would end their longest reign in tag title history, but look at what happened. Zayn then angrily signs the contract. GUNTHER then says Zayn should listen to his new friend Chad Gable as Gable doesn’t believe Zayn can beat him. GUNTHER then says when he looks into Zayn’s eyes, he can see that Zayn doesn’t believe he can beat GUNTHER as well. GUNTHER then says at WrestleMania Zayn’s dreams will meet reality. GUNTHER then signs the contract and tries to leave, but Zayn tells him to wait. Zayn then gets in GUNTHER’s face and tells him to look in his eyes again. Zayn then says that GUNTHER is looking in the eyes of the person who is going to take him down at WrestleMania.
The camera then stays on Zayn as he makes his way through the back. Zayn marches right past The Miz, R-Truth and #DIY. Miz tells Truth that they needed that same mentality in their match tonight. Indus Sher then walks by and Truth says he felt sorry for whoever had to fight them.
We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a WrestleMania Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder Match Qualifier.
The match starts off with Sanga roaring at R-Truth. R-Truth then immediately tags The Miz in and Miz delivers a few strikes on Sanga. Sanga then runs over the Miz and body slams Miz. Veer then tags in and delivers a leaping elbow drop on Miz. Indus Sher then takes turns working over Miz. Miz then manages to tag R-Truth in. R-Truth then hits the five moves of doom on Veer and puts Veer in the STF, but Sanga breaks it up. Miz and R-Truth then hit a double dropkick to Sanga. R-Truth and Miz then hit a lie detector/Skull Crushing Finale combination on Veer, but Sanga breaks up the pin. Sanga then hits an elbow to R-Truth in his face and R-Truth falls on top of Veer. Miz holds Sanga’s leg so he can’t break up the pin and R-Truth gets the 1-2-3.

We then head to the back, where Sami Zayn confronts Chad Gable. Zayn says he wanted to know why Gable thought he couldn’t beat GUNTHER. Gable says it wasn’t just a physical game with GUNTHER, it was mental. Zayn then says he made a career out of being the underdog that crawls his way out of any hole that he is in. Gable then says Zayn finds the window of opportunity, but that doesn’t happen with GUNTHER. Gable also says GUNTHER is a different animal than Zayn has ever faced and if Zayn doesn’t change his mentality, he will not win.
“The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre then makes his way down to the ring, but as he is making his way to the ring, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins’ music hits and Rollins makes his way down to the ring past McIntyre and McIntyre does not look happy.
Rollins starts off by welcoming the fans to Monday Night Rollins, then says he didn’t see McIntyre there as he was too busy soaking up the spotlight. McIntyre then says he knows Rollins has more and tells him to get it out of his system now. Rollins then says he thinks McIntyre is stupid and a hypocrite, but he has to admit that something he said was correct and that is that he is a spotlight junkie. McIntyre then tells Rollins that everything is a joke to him and says the only thing he cares about is his WrestleMania match against Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. McIntyre then says the punchline will be dethroning Rollins.
Rollins then says this isn’t a joke to him and McIntyre saying he’s a spotlight junkie isn’t a joke. Rollins then says he has been in the wrestling business for twenty years and everytime he goes through the curtain is his fix. Rollins also says it gets better everytime he puts everything on the line whenever he enters the ring and says he gets his fix from fans singing his song. Rollins then says he will defeat The Rock and Roman Reigns at Night One of WrestleMania with Cody Rhodes and the biggest spotlight will then be on him and McIntyre in their match at Night Two. McIntyre then says Rollins has made the World Heavyweight Championship the workhorse title and admits that he had him. McIntyre also says Rollins lost him when he brought up the spotlight, then questions why their match can’t just be about the title. McIntyre then says all he cares is that Rollins makes it to the ring at Night Two of WrestleMania, then says he won’t get the moment he deserves but rather the one he’s earned.
Rollins then says McIntyre is an addict like he is and he wants the spotlight as much as he does. Rollins also says since McIntyre won in an empty arena at WrestleMania 37, he has been wanting his moment in front of fans. Rollins then says when the lights shine on him, he shines the brightest and McIntyre will find out he is not as good as he thinks he is.
We then head to the back, where “The Man” Becky Lynch says she was just weeks away from Mania, but she was risking it all tonight because that is what she does. Lynch also says all she knows is taking risks and fighting and she will be the last woman standing tonight.
WWE legend The Rock was then announced for the April 1st episode of RAW in Brooklyn.
We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a WrestleMania Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder Match Qualifier.
The match starts off with Otis and Xavier Woods. Otis knocks Woods down and Tozawa tags in. Woods then delivers a kick on Tozawa’s midsection. Kingston then tags in and Tozawa delivers a hurricanrana on him off the second rope. Tozawa then flies and lands on both Woods and Kingston on the outside with a tope suicida.
Otis then tags in and runs over both Woods and Kingston. Otis then hits Kingston with a slam, then follows that up with The Caterpillar. Otis then looks for a Vader Bomb, but Kingston avoids it. Tozawa then tags in and hits a crossbody on Kingston off the top rope, but Woods tags in and hits a Tornado DDT on Tozawa out of the corner. Woods then climbs to the top, but Tozawa follows him. Woods then puts Tozawa up on his shoulders, but Tozawa counters it into a hurricanrana and climbs back up to the top. Tozawa then hits a senton on Woods and goes for a pin, but Kingston breaks it up. Kingston then hits a Tornado DDT on Otis on the outside. Tozawa then puts Kingston down him when he jumps on the apron, but Woods hits Tozawa with a spinning sit-out powerbomb. Woods then climbs to the top rope and hits an Elbow Drop on Tozawa for the win.

We then head to the back, where Liv Morgan approaches Becky Lynch. Lynch asks Morgan if she has to watch out for her tonight. Morgan says tonight was Lynch’s and tells her to kick Jax’s ass. Lynch then nods.
Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes then crossed paths in the back. Both men then agreed that Rhodes would be going to Smackdown alone.
The lineup for next week’s episode of RAW in Chicago is then announced.
We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a Last Woman Standing Match.
The match starts off with Lynch hitting a dropkick on Jax. Lynch then knocks Jax out of the ring, but Jax lands on her feet. Jax then hits a Samoan drop to Lynch into the barricade. The referee then starts his count, but Lynch gets to her feet. Jax then runs over Lynch, but Lynch gets to her feet at seven. Lynch then hits Jax with a chair and goes for the Manhandle Slam on a chair. Jax then counters and hits a Samoan drop on Lynch on a stack of chairs, but Lynch gets to her feet at eight. Jax then picks Lynch up, but Lynch reverses it into a sleeper. Lynch then hits a DDT on Jax and Jax struggles to get to her feet while the referee counts. Lynch then jumps off the top rope, but gets hits with a steel chair by Jax. Jax then continues beating Lynch down with a chair.
Jax then retrieves a kendo stick from under the ring and continues her assault on Lynch. Jax then slams Lynch on a chair and delivers a leg drop. Jax then tells the referee to count, but Lynch starts to stir. Jax then hits Lynch with a chair repeatedly. Jax then puts a chair on Lynch’s neck and sits on it so Lynch can’t answer the referee’s 10 count. Lynch then grabs a kendo stick and hits Jax with it to escape. The fight then spills to the outside and Jax hits Lynch in the head with the ring steps. Jax then hits her backside by missing a leg drop on the apron. Lynch then hits a DDT on Jax on the ring steps.
Jax then pulls a table from under the ring and puts Lynch on the table and starts climbing a ladder. Lynch then slips off the table and sprays Jax with a fire extinguisher. Lynch then tries to spear Jax through a table, but Jax counters and hits a Samoan drop on Lynch through the table. The referee then starts to count. Jax then drags Lynch to the corner and hits the An-Nia-Lator. The referee then counts and Lynch isn’t moving. Jax then counts along with the referee. Lynch then rolls out of the ring and lands on her feet to break the count. Jax then goes for a Samoan drop through the table off the apron, but Lynch escapes and hits a Manhandle Slam on Jax off the apron through the table. Lynch and Jax then both manage to break the count. Jax then leans against the announce table and Lynch jumps off the ladder and hits a leg drop on Jax through the table. Lynch then uses the ring apron to get to her feet as the referee counts Jax down to ten and Lynch gets the win.

After the match, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Ripley holds up her Women’s World Championship and she and Lynch get into each other’s faces as the show comes to a close.
