Scott Steiner Alludes to Real Reason Behind Bron Breakker Not Using Family Name

Bron Breakker is making strides in the professional wrestling world, recently joining the main roster. However, WWE has chosen not to leverage his legitimate Steiner family connection by using his family name. Scott Steiner has now alluded to the real reason behind Breakker not using the family name.

Fans have voiced strong support for Bron Breakker adopting the Steiner name, believing it would elevate his legacy. Some even advocate for involving his father, Rick, and uncle, Scott, in storylines to boost his career.

While speaking to Monopoly Events, Scott Steiner expressed his confusion over WWE’s decision not to use the Steiner name for Bron Breakker, despite references to his father and uncle.

“I’m not going to say anything as long as he keeps on doing what he does.”

Scott Steiner disclosed that Bron Breakker wishes to adopt the Steiner name, yet WWE has consciously opted to promote him under a different name. Steiner indicated that contesting this decision isn’t worth it and hinted at a backstage decision WWE’s choice.

While Bron Breakker may aspire to carry the Steiner legacy, Steiner acknowledges certain factors that render altering the situation unnecessary. He accepts WWE’s approach to promoting Bron Breakker differently, respecting their decision.

“I give him sh*t all the time that he’s stealing all our sh*t, he does my Frankensteiner, does our suplexes, but he has his own specific way of doing everything so it’s definitely different,” Steiner said. “I take it as a compliment from him, I talk to him almost every week we are still a tight-knit family. I think it’s great, and I think he wants to be a Steiner but there’s certain things there’s no reason trying to change. So if that’s how they want to push him, so be it. It’s not a fight worth fighting.”

Bron Breakker is currently one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions alongside Baron Corbin and they have recently hinted at competing for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 40, so we will have to wait and see how WWE will book them in the coming weeks. In the meantime, fans have accepted Bron Breakker will likely never use the Steiner name.
