Sami Zayn Fires Back at GUNTHER During Contract Signing on 3/18 WWE RAW

The heated rivalry between Sami Zayn and the reigning WWE Intercontinental champion GUNTHER came head-to-head on tonight’s edition of RAW.

Sami Zayn outlasted 5 dynamic RAW stars, including fan favorite Chad Gable in a Gauntlet match last week to earn the opportunity against The Ring General for his title at WrestleMania 40.

Both WWE superstars came face-to-face on RAW tonight to sign the contract for their high-stakes title match at The Show of Shows. While GUNTHER berated Sami once again for not being a worthy competitor, Zayn retaliated by mentioning that he has been doubted at every step of the way of his career.

Yet, he managed to make it to the big leagues, winning numerous championships, and even headlined WrestleMania last year to end the longest-reigning WWE tag team title reign and would do the same to GUNTHER this year.

Still not impressed by Sami’s drive and passion, the champion chose to walk away and laughed in his face. But Zayn did not let him go with a smirk and vowed to end his impressive and longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental title reign at WrestleMania before storming out of the ring straight to the backstage arena, leaving GUNTHER wondering.
