Former WWE Writer Clarifies Facts Regarding The Rock’s Final Boss Moniker

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has unleashed his sinister persona onto the grand stage of WrestleMania 40, alongside his cousin Roman Reigns, targeting none other than the revered Cody Rhodes, whose compelling narrative has captivated fans worldwide.

In recent weeks, he has proclaimed himself as the Final Boss in the build-up to the massive showdown at WrestleMania Night 1 where he and Roman Reigns would clash against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a high-stakes tag team showdown.

Moreover, The Great One has spared no opportunity to verbally eviscerate Rhodes and his lineage under the Final Boss moniker. The intensity of The Rock’s assault was on full display during his recent revival of the infamous ‘Rock Concert’ on SmackDown, where he didn’t hesitate to aim barbs at Rhodes’ entire family.

The American Nightmare took a shot at his new persona on tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW, stating that it was possibly his long-term personal writer, Brian Gewirtz who coined the name for The Rock.

Brian took notice and fired back at Cody Rhodes via his X making it clear that it was not him who came up with The Final Boss, but The Rock himself as it was who he is. Furthermore, Gewirtz also revealed that it was he who told The Rock about his dog, Pharoah that potentially provoked him to take digs at him for weeks.

“Final Boss” isn’t anything I came up with @TheRock calls himself that because he is that. If it makes you feel better @CodyRhodes, I was the first to tell him about your spectacularly stupid goofy ass dog.”
