Austin Theory’s promising trajectory in WWE encountered a setback recently when he faced criticism for a mistimed moment during this week’s SmackDown, where he received a stunner from Kevin Owens followed by an RKO from Randy Orton in rapid succession. However, Theory’s execution appeared slightly off, leading to scrutiny as his leap into the RKO seemed awkward.

In response to the incident, Austin Theory took to Twitter and posted a clip from ‘Modern Family,’ which served as a direct rebuttal to fans criticizing his selling ability.

”You can insult a lot of things about me, but don’t insult my selling. That crosses a line.”

Theory also provided an explanation for his botched selling. Nonetheless, the question remains whether the spot will be revisited in the future and executed more effectively.
