Since the beginning of the wrestling industry, numerous men and women among the roster have found the love of their life in their fellow stars. From Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, working under the same roof has become life-changing for many.
Another name who found the love of his life among the WWE roster is The Undertaker. Married to Michelle McCool. Though things become very easy in that case, a lot of problems also kick in at the same time. Michelle McCool, when started dating the Undertaker, had a lot of problems with fans and fellow workers accepting their relationship.
Speaking on Six Feet Under, McCool revealed that she received death threats from fans following the announcement. Not only that, but their fellow workers were also not very cool with the fact that the duo was dating.
“Not only did his fans legitimately hate me because they think they’re married to him or something, sometimes it’s like death threats. In that regard I got it. Then of course, anything I did or said not any type of work I put in, because I was dating The Undertaker, even from co-workers, it wore on me a lot.”
The Undertaker also revealed that he was worried about the grief McCool was in but wasn’t able to help her. While he wanted to get involved, McCool had asked him not to use his power to influence anything related to her career.
“I saw the frustration, I saw the work she put in. I never helped the girls because most of them were only there for a stairstep to go somewhere else. Her work ethic and what she put into it was different. It wasn’t fair, obviously. You know what you’re getting into when you cross that line, but it wasn’t fair because she worked her butt off.”
While Michelle McCool had to deal with a lot backstage and was threatened by fans around the world then, millions have been obsessed with the couple now.
