Since his injury back in June 2022, Kyle O’Reilly has not been in action in the squared circle. The former WWE superstar underwent a neck fusion surgery followed by complications kicking in, making his injury career-threatening. O’Reilly revealed that he wasn’t able to use his arm for a long time and believed that his wrestling career was over

O’Reilly made a dramatic return during AEW Revolution following Roderick Strong’s AEW International Championship win. Since then, O’Reilly has been offered to join the Undisputed Kingdom but the former WWE star has kept on rejecting it.

After a couple of weeks on TV, he made his in-ring return on the 3/16 episode of Collision where he faced Bryan Keith in singles action. Returning to action after nearly two years, O’Reilly managed to keep up with the pace of the match against the Bounty Hunter.

The former WWE superstar favored his injured neck throughout the match as Keith tried to put some damage on it. After an entertaining turn of events, O’Reilly applied the armbar to get a submission victory against Keith. The Undisputed Kingdom members then came out to help him celebrate.
