Ahead of the monumental tag team match at WrestleMania, The Rock has been seizing every chance to ridicule his opponents, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. His antics continued on SmackDown, where he even brought up Ja Morant just to taunt Rollins. In response, Morant has reacted to The Rock mentioning him on SmackDown.
The March 15 episode of SmackDown was electrifying as Hollywood Rock made a memorable return. With his iconic theme music filling the arena, the Great One shared heartfelt sentiments about Memphis, Tennessee.
During the show, The Rock Concert returned, delighting the WWE Universe with some spicy jabs at Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Taking shots at Rhodes’ mother and referencing Rhodes’ previous gimmick Stardust, The Great One’s performance was a spectacle.
In characteristic fashion, he didn’t shy away from addressing the ‘Cody Crybabies’ and delivering an insult that the world appreciated. Following the concert, The Rock turned his attention to Cody Rhodes’ recent actions, once again insulting Rhodes’ interview with Michael Cole on RAW.
The Rock also took a jab at Ja Morant for his infamous gun-waving antics that landed him in trouble, during the segment on SmackDown. Singing about Seth Rollins, he quipped, “you’re simply an embarrassment son, just like Ja Morant when he’s waving a gun.”
In response, Ja Morant reacted on social media with a classic 50 Cent meme captioned “what he say ‘f*** me’ for?”
With his appearance on the blue brand, The Rock spared no one, including Cody Rhodes’ mother, with his insults. It will be intriguing to see how Rhodes and Seth Rollins retaliate to his remarks when they appear on the red brand next week, as we head towards WrestleMania 40.
