At the onset of AEW Big Business, fans were treated to an electrifying moment as Mercedes Mone made her long-awaited debut, sparking immense excitement among the audience. One day removed from her epic debut, Mone stated that she felt like ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

During Dynamite: Big Business in Boston, Mercedes Mone was met with a deafening ovation from her hometown crowd. In her inaugural AEW promo, the 32-year-old addressed the fans directly and issued a stern warning to Willow Nightingale, making it clear that their unfinished business would soon be settled.

In an interview with Joe Otterson of Variety, Mercedes shared her thoughts on her debut and the overwhelming reaction she received. Mone stated that she felt like ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

“It was unbelievable. I still haven’t gotten to take everything in yet, but my heart was just pounding out of my chest. Once I heard the beat drop in the music and the ‘CEO’ chants were on the screens, and then they revealed the ‘Mercedes Moné’ name, that eruption was so electric. I felt so cool. I felt like Stone Cold Steve Austin, when fans just lift up all their signs and stand up with their arms raised. I felt so cool. It was the best feeling in the world.”
