Since the idea of The Rock running for the Presidential Elections has surfaced on the internet, millions of fans from the wrestling universe have expressed their excitement. Not many stars from the wrestling industry have stepped into politics. One name who did is the Republican Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, Glenn Jacobs (Kane).

While The Rock joining politics is still uncertain, John Cena was questioned about his interest in joining the field. In a recent episode of the Drew Barrymore Show, John Cena addressed a lot about his wrestling career, Hollywood fame, and his future plans.

Drew Barrymore questioned John Cena’s interest in politics when the latter revealed that he didn’t want to go there. Cena revealed that one doesn’t need a political figure to influence change. Rather, the voices of people are enough to influence each other and that politics wasn’t necessary to do it.

“No. If you are so influenced by this, and other people, one by one, are influenced by that, you don’t need a political figure to be a catalyst for change. We live in such a great society that people can orchestrate change. We are in the current state of where we are because this is essentially our attitude. What can I control if I’m upset? I can control how I behave. How I behave is influential on other people, maybe it effects you, and then one by one, one person at a time, we have the ability to voice ourselves as people.”

John Cena has made himself big enough to encourage people to do something. While politics might have been another area of success for the 16-time World Champion, continuing his Hollywood career might be the best idea for him. Stay connected to Ringside News to get the latest updates on WWE.
