Damage CTRL Puts Down Bayley Despite Her Backup on 3/15 WWE SmackDown

Bayley had made a lot of enemies during her warpath as the leader of the faction Damage CTRL. However, she now finds herself all alone to combat the threat of her former teammates with a little preview shown on tonight’s edition of SmackDown.

Bayley was scheduled to battle her former friend, Dakota Kai who for weeks, portrayed herself to be in her corner, but revealed her true colors two weeks ago on SmackDown after she betrayed Bayley in favor of joining the rest of Damage CTRL.

The 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble winner found herself surrounded by the numbers game from the very start of the bout. But Bayley showed her prowess as a tenured WWE superstar and brought the fight to Dakota inside the ring.

However, the closing moments saw WWE Women’s champion IYO Sky enter the ring and attack Bayley causing a disqualification. As the rest of her crew began to pulverize The Role Model, her old ally, Naomi made her way to the ring to make the save.

But Naomi herself fell short to the numbers game and was taken out of the equation in quick fashion. The show ended with IYO Sky hitting an excellent moonsault on Bayley, sending a message to WrestleMania 40 and Damage CTRL standing tall over a fallen warrior in Bayley.
