Adam Cole suffered a significant ankle injury during AEW Grand Slam, resulting in fractures in three different places. This unfortunate incident disrupted several plans for his future in wrestling. After undergoing surgery for the injury last year, there’s now an update on his recovery.

Kevin Owens was the first to break the news of Adam Cole’s surgery, which was later confirmed. Despite several months passing since the injury, Adam Cole, now known as The Devil and leader of The Undisputed Kingdom, has yet to return to the ring.

During Fightful’s latest Q&A Session, Sean Ross Sapp provided insight into Adam Cole’s recovery status. Sapp disclosed that Adam Cole has finally shed the boot he was wearing for his ankle.

“I heard he was out of the boot and there were concers that there whether or not it would stop swell but that was over a month ago.”
