WWE & AEW Collaboration Advocated for Dustin Rhodes’ Involvement In Cody Rhodes’ Storyline

Cody Rhodes strongly resonates with fans, truly embodying the people’s champion in WWE. Rhodes is determined to finish his story and now a push for AEW and WWE to work together in order to have Dustin Rhodes involved in Cody Rhodes’ storyline has been made.

Back in 2019, Dustin Rhodes departed WWE for AEW. Currently, his brother Cody Rhodes is engaged in his major storyline with Roman Reigns and The Rock, centered on the wrestling legacy of the Rhodes family.

During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry delved into the prospect of collaboration between the two wrestling companies, highlighting why the Road to WrestleMania presents an opportune moment for such an alliance.

”And as far as there being an opportunity for a working relationship, which Triple H said a year and change ago, that they’re open for a working relationship with AEW. It’s yet to be seen, but they were open for it. This is the time, if you ever were going to do it, try to get it done, you’ve got four weeks.”

Dustin’s contractual obligations to AEW have restricted his participation to solely engaging on social media platforms, refraining from any on-camera appearances in WWE. Mark Henry emphasized that such involvement would necessitate a formal agreement between the two wrestling organizations. It remains to be seen whether Dustin Rhodes will temporarily return to WWE eventually.
