Paul Wight has been part of the AEW family for well over two years now and hasn’t really been an active competitor whatsoever. It’s been a while since he competed and he has now confirmed he will return to the squared circle soon.
Paul Wight made his in-ring return on the November 15th episode of AEW Dynamite as part of the Like A Dragon Gaiden Street Fight. He partnered up with Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi and would go on to defeat Konosuke Takeshita, Brian Cage, Kyle Fletcher and Powerhouse Hobbs.
Wight hit a major chokeslam on Fletcher and then brawled with Powerhouse Hobbs. He would then be taken out of the match early after Hobbs slammed him onto the hood of a car. He would then compete alongside Chris Jericho back in January but hasn’t wrestled since then.
The World’s Largest Athlete took to his Instagram and uploaded a video, revealing that he will be returning to in-ring competition soon.
‘‘I bet you’re wondering what do giants do when they’re not in the ring? It’s taking the trash can, but I will be back in the ring soon.”
Regardless, it remains to be seen what the future holds for The World’s Largest Athlete, as fans want him to compete inside the squared circle one last time.
