Mandy Rose was part of WWE for several years until her untimely release back in December 2022. During that time she engaged in numerous feuds with top stars and that also included even Sonya Deville. Rose has now revealed that she wanted more money to shave her head for a WWE storyline.

The long-standing rivalry between Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville culminated at SummerSlam in 2020, where they squared off in a high-stakes Loser Leaves WWE match. Initially, the match was intended to feature a Hair vs. Hair stipulation, but this concept was scrapped just days before the event.

In a recent Q&A session for Monopoly Events, Mandy Rose discussed her experience working with Sonya Deville and expressed appreciation for their close friendship and mutual understanding. Reflecting on their partnership, she emphasized their supportive dynamic and shared discussions about wrestling.

Regarding the proposed hair vs. hair match, Rose acknowledged that if such a stipulation had been implemented, she would have considered shaving her head depending on the circumstances. However, she added that she would have expected a higher compensation for undergoing such a drastic change in appearance.

“Working with Sonya was great because we were best friends and knew each other so well. There was no bad will, we always took care of each other. We were each other all the time, so we talked about wrestling. Working with her during that whole time, it was weird again, because of COVID, unfortunately. If we did do the hair vs. hair match, would I have shaved my head? It depends, they would have had to pay me to shave my head a little more.”

While Sonya Deville is currently out of action due to an ACL injury, Mandy Rose is thriving after her WWE release, especially thanks to her lucrative premium content service. Nevertheless, some fans would have been interested to see Rose with a shaved head.
