At last year’s Money In The Bank Premium Live Event, Damian Priest overcame all challenges to win the match and secure the Mr. Money In The Bank briefcase. Despite not cashing in the contract yet, Priest is determined to shut up his haters once and for all when he cashes in the Money in The Bank.
Since Damian Priest won the briefcase, there has been ongoing speculation about when he will cash in his contract. Over the past seven months, several significant developments have unfolded on WWE RAW.
Damian Priest has teased cashing in on Seth Rollins multiple times in recent months. However, his attempts have been repeatedly thwarted by other competitors, including Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton. Despite these opportunities, Priest has yet to cash in the briefcase. Priest also recently explained why he hasn’t cashed in the briefcase yet.
During his appearance on The Babyfaces Podcast, Damian Priest reiterated that he has until July 2024 to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. He emphasized that the expiration date is not tied to WrestleMania, as some may believe, but rather extends until July.
Priest expressed confidence in his ability to successfully cash in the briefcase, stating that he is looking forward to proving doubters wrong and silencing critics. While he did not reveal his specific plans for cashing in, Priest assured fans that when the time comes, it will be a significant moment that will leave a lasting impact.
‘‘Just waiting and seeing. I got until July (to cash in Money in the Bank). I’m good. It doesn’t expire at WrestleMania. I think a lot of people get confused with that because it used to be at WrestleMania. But I have till July so… man, I’m chilling. We’re fine. It’s gonna happen… I see the stuff online where people aren’t sure if I’m gonna cash in, is it gonna be successful and championship material. When it happens, I’m gonna shut everybody up. I’m not gonna let everybody know when, because that would be silly. But it’ll happen and it’s gonna happen big so, I’m looking forward to that day and kind of shutting a lot of people up.”
Damian Priest and Finn Bálor are set to defend their Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 40 in a six-pack Ladder match. This high-stakes bout will test their skills and determination as they face off against multiple teams vying for the championship gold. Nonetheless, only time will tell whether Damian Priest will cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase at WrestleMania 40.
