AEW President Tony Khan has extended a warm welcome to another company’s President, Taro Okada of STARDOM, to AEW’s highly anticipated “Big Business” episode in Boston, Massachusetts.
Scheduled to take place tonight at the TD Garden, this edition of AEW Dynamite promises to be particularly memorable, boasting an impressive lineup and the anticipated AEW debut of former WWE and IWGP Women’s Champion, Mercedes Mone.
In a tweet shared on Wednesday afternoon, Tony Khan shared a backstage photo with Taro Okada, expressing his honor at having the President of STARDOM present for the event. Khan’s message emphasized the excitement surrounding AEW’s Big Business episode, set to air on TBS Network at 8pm ET/7pm CT.
Mercedes Mone’s previous appearance for STARDOM at the All Star Grand Queendom event in April 2023, where she contended for the IWGP Women’s Championship against Mayu Iwatani, adds to the anticipation of her AEW debut.
Among the night’s anticipated matches, Samoa Joe will defend the AEW World Title against Wardlow, while Darby Allin will face “Switchblade” Jay White in a highly anticipated clash. Additionally, Kazuchika Okada, Matthew, and Nicholas Jackson of The Elite will team up against Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Miedo, and PAC in trios action.
Furthermore, Willow Nightingale is set to take on Riho in a singles match, and Chris Jericho will team up with HOOK to face Gates of Agony.
