Britt Baker rose to prominence as one of the AEW originals who became highly popular for her overall personality and in-ring work ethic.

The Role Model has delivered some of the best in-ring performances in AEW that even led her to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship on one occasion and the Owen Hart Women’s Cup.

Moreover, she has battled the likes of superstars like Thunder Rosa, Hikaru Shida, Ruby Soho, and Toni Storm in her quest to become a top name in the wrestling industry.

However, Dr Britt Baker D.M.D has been out of action for an extended period due to injury with her last match being against Kris Statlander for the AEW TBS Title in September 2023.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan shed light on her hiatus and dropped hints regarding her return coming soon during a SXSW Panel.

“She was out injured for a while, and now that she’s out and about, she could be coming back soon, you never know when she could return. It’s one of those things we have up our sleeve and it’s always fun when you can do those.”

Britt Baker was regarded as the face of the women’s division at the early start of the promotion, but that has changed drastically since she was sidelined. So it would be interesting to see her journey to reach the top of the mountain yet again once she makes her triumphant return to AEW.
