Gigi Dolin has certainly had her share of twists and turns in her wrestling journey. This was apparent during NXT this week in her match with Arianna Grace. Following the show, Dolin broke her silence regarding the matter.
Over the past few weeks, Gigi Dolin and Arianna Grace have engaged in several backstage altercations. Consequently, an official announcement was made for a singles match between them on this week’s episode of WWE NXT. The match’s unique stipulation stated that if Arianna won, she would be allowed to give Gigi a makeover to turn her into a proper lady.
As seen on this week’s episode of NXT, Gigi Dolin squared off against Arianna Grace in singles competition. In the final moments of the match, while the referee was briefly distracted, Arianna executed a low blow on Gigi. In response, Gigi delivered her own low blow. However, this time the referee noticed the action, resulting in the match being called off and Arianna declared the winner by disqualification.
Although low blows are typically associated with men’s matches, witnessing such a move in a women’s match was indeed uncommon. Gigi Dolin later took to Twitter to confirm that the experience was legitimately painful.
“For those wondering, YES.. IT HURTS.”
We will have to wait and see what kind of makeover Arianna Grace will give Gigi Dolin, in order to turn Dolin into a proper woman in the end.
