Trick Williams reemerged back to the WWE NXT landscape after being betrayed and injured by his former best friend and someone who was like his brother, Carmelo Hayes.

He returned at the end of last week’s show to attack Hayes right after he lost out on a shot to compete for the NXT championship against the reigning title holder, Ilja Dragunov at Stand and Deliver.

Williams came to tonight’s edition of NXT to address his friend’s betrayal, reminiscent of their journey for the two years and how he was always happy for Carmelo’s success. However, Trick Williams mentioned many in the locker room including the Greatest of all time John Cena even told him that Melo did not have his back much like he did.

Williams concluded with a proposal to settle their differences by throwing out a challenge toward Carmello Hayes for a one-on-one showdown on NXT Stand and Deliver.

Just as he was about to exit, Trick Williams was interrupted by the Meta-Four faction. Despite Trick asking them to leave him alone, the members did not hold back their punches but found himself overpowered by Williams.

Moreover, he even engaged in a lip lock with their own stable member, Lash Legend amidst the chaos much to the shock of the entire NXT universe in attendance and Lash’s own teammates. The segment ended with Trick Williams standing tall while the Meta-Four members were sent into retreat by the charismatic star.
