Maxxine Dupri was gradually recovering from a severe fan backlash at a recent WWE live event, but things didn’t go well for her on RAW after Candice LeRae brought up her brother’s death. In fact, LeRae was unapologetic for addressing Dupri’s brother’s passing on the show.

However, this week’s episode of RAW might have made Maxxine Dupri second-guess her decision to become an in-ring performer. During a tag team bout where Dupri and Ivy Nile faced Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell, LeRae unexpectedly launched a verbal assault on Dupri.

LeRae expressed that Dupri didn’t belong in WWE, referencing the recent fan backlash and even bringing up Dupri’s deceased brother, suggesting he would have been embarrassed by her current status.

“You know why everyone boo’s you? You don’t belong here. You think the internet hates you? You should hear what the girls in the locker room say. It’s a good thing your dead brother isn’t here to see what an embarrassment you’ve become.”

While speaking on RAW Talk, Candice LeRae was asked why she even mentioned Maxxine Dupri’s brother’s death. LeRae made it clear she couldn’t care less about that and wanted to focus on her tag team win instead.

”We won and I’m not here to talk about Maxxine, I came to talk about the win tonight. So this interview is done.”

Maxxine’s brother, Wyatt Zmrzel, passed away at the age of 22 and it is likely his demise will be used in Candice LeRae’s feud with Maxxine Dupri. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book them in the coming weeks.
