Seth Rollins has been known to be a part of some of the memorable moments in the history of WWE. But none can top the iconic moment that Rollins created in the main event of WrestleMania 31.

Amidst the first-time clash between then WWE champion Brock Lesnar and his challenger, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins interjected himself into the match, courtesy of his Money in the Bank briefcase that he had won earlier on.

The match became a triple-threat showdown and saw Rollins stomp Reigns’ head into the mat to successfully cash in his opportunity and win his first WWE championship in the moment that has been famously called ‘The Heist of the Century.’

Following a tag team match alongside his new ally, Cody Rhodes at a recent WWE live show in Lafayette, Rollins grabbed the mic and openly dismissed one of the greatest moments of his life as his first WrestleMania main event.

Instead, he claimed that his first-ever WrestleMania headliner would be the upcoming mega showdown at WrestleMania 40, where Rollins and Rhodes will team up to battle the powerful Samoan duo of Roman Reigns and The Rock. You can check it out here.

“I know I had my big cash-in at WrestleMania 31, kinda stuck right into me man, but this year would be, what I consider, my first WrestleMania main event.”

The match, billed to be the biggest tag team match of all time was made official on last week’s SmackDown, when Seth Rollins accepted the challenge on behalf of his team and assured The Rock that his prime has passed him and he would not take the time of the present stars like him to stay relevant.
